Vintage Buyer & Assistant Manager Position 

We are seeking a Vintage & Secondhand buyer to join our leadership team. This is a full-time position that involves working on the floor in both our stores as well as time spent on regular overnight buying trips (2-4 days).  We are looking for a friendly and hardworking person to fill this role. 

Required skills and Attributes:

  • Knowledge of Vintage and Secondhand clothing grade (ie. brands, styles, fabric)
  • Strong organization, communication and leadership skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and abilities in multi-tasking
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Great customer service skills
  • Experience buying secondhand
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise
  • Valid Driver’s License

Role Responsibilities:

  • Leading by example in terms of work ethic, time management and customer service
  • Obtaining vintage and secondhand stock through in-store buying and buying trips
  • Maintaining stock levels and established quality of grade
  • Training new staff
  • Keeping accurate records of incoming and outgoing buying
  • Communicating clearly with management, customers and staff
  • Merchandising and store visuals
  • Performing other duties as assigned
