Our business started in Victoria in 2003 as a used and vintage clothing store named Flavour. We also sold old video games like the original Atari and Nintendo. Vintage became hard to source, so for awhile we made our own printed tees and sold so much American Apparel we were sometimes called the American Apparel Store. Then Dov went crazy and we dropped AA for a wider range of brands.
Around 2013 we opened a larger store in Vancouver carrying all the brands we dreamed of. For months the store had no sign. This was because it had no name.
We brainstormed a lot of very terrible names and customers were growing increasingly confused and annoyed. Finally, our wise women's buyer, Annika, suggested the address as the name.
